Labor Day Weekend With 9.1% Unemployment — “but never mind, it’s the other fellow’s fault!”

President Harry Truman, one of my favorite Presidents — next to Lincoln, that is — had a sign on his desk which he proundly displayed that read, "The Buck Stops Here."

Problem is there is hardly any bucks left to stop anywhere. America is broke for the first time in history. That’s a shame, of course, and there is enough to go around for who’s at fault.

Republican are sure they know, as are the Democrats. The Tea Partyers are probably right—it’s both of them, plus a few independents thrown in.

Personally, in my opinion it really doesn’t matter who’s at fault if you are hungry and looking for work. Just fix it without all the wrangling. As the Cable Guy says, “Git ‘er dun!”
